We use our virtual website as a tool to promote international trade so that companies all over the world can offer their products, services and projects. So far we have received inquiries from over 80 countries. Our goal is to promote world trade and economic progress in developing countries. For more information visit us at www.musashicorp.com
We are promoting worthwhile causes in different parts of the world. In Australia we have established the Latin American Housing Company Ltd, a nonprofit organization which provides housing to low-income Hispanic migrants. We have obtained grants from the Queensland Department of Housing and own 20 properties in the Brisbane metropolitan area and house the same number of hispanic families. See our houses at www.geocities.com/lahousing
Also, in cooperation with the Centre for Multicultural Pastoral Care and the Australian Taxation Office in Brisbane, we offer the Tax Help Program which is a service designed by ATO to help low-income persons prepare their income tax returns and to get the maximum benefit under the law. Jairo has personally offered his services for the past 16 years, and more than 90% of his clients receive refunds. The service is provided to over 200 families from more than 20 nationalities and it is completely free.
For the last couple of years housing has become more expensive to buy, and the Australian dream of home ownership is NOT the reality for 40% of all Australians who live in households with an income of less than $30,000 per year. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit Christian organization that builds simple, decent homes for families in need on a no-profit, no-interest basis - giving them a hand up, not a hand-out. Habitat for Humanity is now working in over 84 countries around the world and has built over 200,000 homes since its inception - every 10 minutes a new house is being built by Habitat somewhere in the world.
musashicorp.org is an umbrella organization that Jairo uses for his international activities. In this regard, Musashicorp became a Greenstar Premium Partner. Musashi Corporation has been recognized by Greenstar for its contribution to developing new access to global trade resources around the world, especially for its encouragement of programs on hunger, housing and water. So, who is Greenstar?Greenstar is founded on a simple idea: that people, no matter where they live, have the same basic needs: for food, shelter, caring for their children and families, building their future, leading a life of learning, creativity and dignity. Where people in emerging nations don't enjoy the social and economic conditions to support these basic needs, all they need is the tools to grow by themselves, some assistance and startup resources.Greenstar's concrete approach to delivering on this promise is also very simple: a self-contained, solar-powered, Web-connected community center. Including a medical clinic and telemedicine connections, a classroom, a commercial-grade photovoltaic solar power array, and a satellite dish for telecommunications. Then, make it self-financing through ecommerce on the Internet. See how it works in Musashicorp in Action at www.e-greenstar.com/Musashi
Jairo has a Certificate in English Studies from Harvard University, a degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University in Boston, and Graduate Studies in International Business from City College of San Francisco and Queensland University of Technology in Australia. He is also a NAATI Australia Accredited Interpreter/Translator and has done work for companies in South Korea, Japan, USA and Australia. He has a black belt awarded by the World Taekwondo Federation, Seoul Korea; and has also worked as an extra in a Japanese movie called Moyuru Toki: The Excellent Company
